Deisy Suarez, born in Santo Domingo and raised in New York after immigrating at age eight, discovered her passion for beauty and wellness early, crafting homemade scrubs and offering treatments from the age of 12. She gained experience assisting beauty reps, working in her aunt’s salon, and later trained professionally as an esthetician, makeup artist, and certified massage therapist, earning credentials from the Learning Institute of Beauty Science, Marinello School of Beauty, and the National Holistic Institute, along with a Bachelor's in Marketing from UTESA. In 2004 she launched Desuar Cosmetics, and by 2010 opened her first Desuar Spa in Los Angeles—now expanded into multiple locations. Her education continued through advanced certifications in skin analysis, massage, hospitality management, and more. Featured in major publications like Forbes and LA Magazine, Deisy has served celebrities, spoken at industry events, authored books, and dedicated herself to charitable contributions and volunteer work worldwide.
